Maria’s Multi Regional Cuisine was born on February 13, 1997, at the hand of its owner, Maria Anna Vieages, a talented chef and caterer. The name was chosen to describe the variety of taste sensations available to enhance the enjoyment of discerning guests and their hosts.
One selects a caterer of note not only for the quality and presentation of the foods chosen from a broad spectrum of menu items, but also to cater to the invited guests, the venue and savoir-faire of the hosts, and their lifestyle. Maria’s is, for these reasons and more, the Caterer of Choice. Events are personalized for each client through one-on-one interaction with Maria, ensuring a memorable occasion for everyone.
The staff available to service your function into a successful event are highly trained and skilled and most importantly personable. They know what and when to do, how to do it without notice, are extremely pleasant, and are knowledgeable about the delicacies they are serving. Team leaders prepare for the occasion through pre function meetings and guide the execution through two-way radio communication on site- to perform a flawlessly catered event.
The chefs who combine fresh quality foodstuffs to create the tastes that will be remembered are culinary professionals with high standards of production and employ the common denominator of perfection. They are artists in their own right in creating beautiful presentations of their products.

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM MARIA:
I started Maria’s in New Orleans where I was born and raised. Hurricane Katrina arrived on August 29, 2005. After 9 feet of water sitting in the building for over 2 weeks, I don’t have to tell you what things were like when I returned home months later. A dear client who lives in Sonoma and used to fly to New Orleans for private cooking classes called me in June 2006. After hearing of the reality of life in New Orleans, she offered to fly me to Sonoma County for a visit. When I arrived I knew I had found my new home.
I moved to Santa Rosa on September 17, 2006 and reopened Maria’s Multi Regional Cuisine on February 14, 2007. How ironic that I reopened 1 day later than Maria’s original opening date.
It is because of the people in Sonoma County and surrounding areas that Maria’s is growing every day.
